Portfolio Links

I wonder if people could post links to their portfolio sites. I'd like to keep up with what everyone is doing, plus they are a great reference for those days when I'm searching for something inspirational.

FAV people:

Great show. Can I post your videos on the web? Kieran made a great site for us. Many heard about your work and are interested in seeing them.
[and I'm at home and don't have everyone's email, can you forward this?]

Film Festival Update

The third annual RWU SAAHP Film Festival will be this Wednesday, May 12, at 11pm in ARCH 132. Free Admission.

The Video and Animation class is organizing it and working on marketing. To that end, Kieran has designed some beautiful posters. We have $350 to spend on posters (Thanks to Steve and SAAHP). What I originally proposed was a two prong strategy:

1) One Giant awesome poster we put in a great location.

2) 500 color 11x17's.

You guys like this plan? Time is crucial and I'd like to go to the printers this afternoon if possible.

Its 50 different portfolio websites, all of which are very interesting and interactive. A simple google search of "portfolio websites" also brought up many pages of the 50 most "whatever" portfolio websites.

Final Cut Help

I'm trying to export my video as a .mov from Final Cut Pro. I've done this before by going to File>Export>QuickTime Movie>Save to Desktop

This time it only exports a 5 second black clip. I've tried multiple settings for the compression with no luck. What am I missing? Why can't I save?

Oh Shit Moment

I bought this awesome frame to use today. then took it apart to size it for matting, and what I thought was part of the picture that was framed in it was actually painted on the glass!

thankfully i later found that they make glass replacements and i found one that fit.
