So this is what I have so far, slowly it's getting pieced together...hopefully it'll look more like what I was hoping for when I finish piecing it together. Any thoughts are welcome =)

    I think if we get some detailing in the lower half it will help put your piece into context. There's only a little bit of the cloud on the right coming through so it's still a little unclear if this is an abstraction of a scene or some kind of pattern. I know what to be looking for, so I'm a little biased, but I'd just say keep going and do MORE!
